101 “You may use the plunder of your enemies, which the Lord your God has given you.”
Deuteronomy 20:14
Such is the victory of the people of God over sin, death and hell. We stand delivered from it all and are conquerors through Him who loves us. We have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ and what He accomplished on the cross at Calvary. He vanquished sin and death for us and through Him we reign supreme.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:57
There is nothing else to fear and we claim the victory and all the spiritual plunder through Him who loves us. We are able to relate to God, and we are able to fight sin in our life and win. There is no way we need to acquiesce to the enemy for he is conquered in Christ. We have plundered the home of the wicked and we stand victorious and rich in our Saviour who plundered the strong man and gave us the plunder so we can exalt in Him.
“Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.”
Matthew 12:29
Christ has conquered for us and so we share in the glory that will be revealed at the last time. We share in the victory in our lives now as we live holy lives to the Lord. Let us live for Christ and enjoy His valour.
